How to install the app

Order the app and install it in your car’s infotainment system. How?

Installation via the infotainment

Go to in-car Shop

Find the Shop tile in your infotainment system and enter.

Install the app

Find the News tile, enter and click “Install”.

Confirm Terms and Conditions

The app is activated once you have agreed to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. News is available for 1 year free of charge.

Get going!

From now on, you can enjoy news feeds in your car every day.

Installation via the Connect Portal

Enter the Connect Portal

Enter the Škoda Connect Portal at www.skoda-connect.com. You will need your email and access password to log in. Alternatively, you can go directly to the Škoda Connect Shop via shop.skoda-connect.com.

Enter the Connect Shop

Go to Shop, then Services, Apps & Features.

Select Infotainment apps

Click on Infotainment apps to see the current range of additional apps available for your infotainment system.

Install the app

Confirm the News app by pressing the “Add to Cart” button. Follow this procedure to automatically install the app in your car’s infotainment system for 1 year free of charge.

Get going!

Once you have agreed to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, the app will appear in the main Menu in your car infotainment system. From now on, you can follow the news from your car seat!

Availability for your Škoda

You can check the availability of the app for your Škoda here. The News app is available for cars with the latest generation of Amundsen or Columbus infotainment systems and with Škoda Connect services activated.
