And with the app, you can check the weather forecast not only in your current location, but anywhere at home or abroad. You can also pre-select your favourite locations in the app, so you’ll always have the weather you need at your fingertips.

The weather can be unpredictable on long journeys. But with the Weather app, you’ll never be caught off guard again. You can keep track of the weather forecast along your entire planned route, with the app also calculating your current arrival time.

Precipitation radar

If you want to be really well prepared, there is also a precipitation radar. Rainy weather will no longer take you by surprise.

How to install the app

Order the app and install it in your car’s infotainment system. How?

Installation via the infotainment

Go to in-car Shop

Find the Shop tile in your infotainment system and enter.

Install the app

Find the Weather tile, enter and click “Install”.

Confirm Terms and Conditions

The app is activated automatically once you have agreed to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Weather is available for 1 year free of charge.

Get going!

From now no weather will surprise you, wherever you are.

Installation via the Connect Portal

Enter the Connect Portal

Enter the Škoda Connect Portal at www.skoda-connect.com. You will need your email and access password to log in. Alternatively, you can go directly to the Škoda Connect Shop via shop.skoda-connect.com.

Enter the Connect Shop

Go to Shop, then Services, Apps & Features.

Select Infotainment apps

Click on Infotainment Apps to see the current range of additional apps available for your infotainment system.

Install the app

Confirm the Weather app by pressing the “Add to Cart” button. Follow this procedure to automatically install the app in your car’s infotainment system for 1 year free of charge.

Get going!

Once you have agreed to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, the app will appear in the main Menu in your car infotainment system. From now on, you can follow the weather from your car seat!

Availability for your Škoda

You can check the availability of the app for your Škoda here. The Weather app is available for cars with the latest generation of Amundsen or Columbus infotainment systems and with Škoda Connect services activated.
